The Tom Rose School:
Stephanie Graduated from the Professionals Program in 2011. For over three decades, graduates of our Professional Dog Trainer Program have distinguished themselves in the dog-training community. The Professional program is an intensive course focused on hands-on training. This program provides students with working a wide range of existing dog personalities and training issues. The Professional course is very challenging and requires a strong work ethic, self-discipline, and organization. Testing is based on nationally recognized dog competition events, including those governed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), Schutzhund (DVG, USA, WDA), National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (NNDDA), United Kennel Club (UKC), and other major national and international kennel clubs. You will receive the most comprehensive education and hands-on training in the world, which will prepare you for a long-term, rewarding career in dog training.

Topline K9 services the whole of North San Diego County. Having services available to Vista, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, San Marcos, Encinitas, Escondido, Oceanside, and more to better serve your needs. Our professional dog trainers available for free evaluations to get you and your dog started on the right path to your personalized training program that best suits your needs. We provide free in home pickup and drop off so that you can avoid the hustle and bustle of daily traffic jams within 15 miles of one of our locations.
We welcome our North San Diego County area clients to our home, and main location in Vista, CA. While this may not be an ideal hike for you, worry not! Our trainers will personally provide free in home pickup and drop offs as availability allows within 15 miles of one of our locations.
Working out of the trainer's home provides a great benefit to your dog when providing a boarding and training program. The training is specially catered to your dogs needs, and they are allowed the extra special attention of extra play times, long walks throughout the neighborhood, and late night potty sessions that a normal kennel may not be able to provide outside of the normal training routine.
Whether you are interested in dropping your dog off for day training while you’re on your way to work or headed out of town while your dog participates in a board and train program, we are just around the corner.

If I were only allowed one sentence to describe Topline K9 Obedience it would certainly be: “One of the best investments that I could make for my family.” We reviewed several sites before my husband found Topline’s site. I called and spoke with Stephanie, who from the very beginning was awesome. She answered all of my questions by phone or email, and even came to our house for a one-on-one consultation. After meeting Stephanie, I knew immediately that Bailey and Higgins would be in good hands. Bailey completed one week of leash training while Higgins completed the advanced off-leash program for 3 weeks. Any questions that I had Stephanie answered and provided very helpful feedback. Alison and Stephanie’s methods are straightforward and have been easy to implement at home. Home life now is wonderful without all of the stress! We are a happy pack! Compared to similar training programs, Topline’s prices are competitive and they are willing to discuss options that fit your budget. I was in need of urgent and major help with my 9 week old golden retriever puppy. She refused to be put in the crate and left alone for more than 2 minutes. I would return to a soiled and smelly mess each time. After a week of this, I called Stephanie. She came to my house and was very thorough in her discussions with me and her observations of my puppy. Stephanie determined that it would be best if she took my puppy and boarded her for 2 days. Well 2 days later and she brought back a new puppy to me! Totally broke her of her separation anxiety and fear of the crate. I don't know how she did it, but it's been magical! Stephanie is a great listener, is very adaptable to each specific situation, and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Stephanie's services, I don't know what I would've done without her!
