Prior to signing up Coltrane went nuts at the doorbell, tended to jump on guests when they entered the house, and would bolt into the woods if a door was left cracked. In addition our kids could barely walk him, and we had to avoid other dogs and pray he did not see a deer or cat for fear he would yank a leash out of hour hands. We can now leave doors open, the climb command is a god send when the doorbell rings, and walking him is now a lot of fun. The family training we did with the dog a few times while he was boarding with you, and then the sessions at home have been very useful. With the base you established with Coltrane “training the family” was quicker than I expected. We now refer to our dog as Coltrane 2.0. The new upgraded and improved version.

If I were only allowed one sentence to describe Topline K9 Obedience it would certainly be: “One of the best investments that I could make for my family.” We reviewed several sites before my husband found Topline’s site. I called and spoke with Stephanie, who from the very beginning was awesome. She answered all of my questions by phone or email, and even came to our house for a one-on-one consultation. After meeting Stephanie, I knew immediately that Bailey and Higgins would be in good hands. Bailey completed one week of leash training while Higgins completed the advanced off-leash program for 3 weeks. Any questions that I had Stephanie answered and provided very helpful feedback. Stephanie’s methods are straightforward and have been easy to implement at home. Home life now is wonderful without all of the stress! We are a happy pack! Compared to similar training programs, Topline’s prices are competitive and they are willing to discuss options that fit your budget. Definitely helped our three incorrigible pups . My three dogs (two pit mixes and one retriever) did five days each of the Doggie Day Training, and I was really happy with the results. All of my dogs are a little older (6, 7, 11), but Stephanie was able to either teach them new skills or help them remember forgotten ones (like walking nicely on a leash). One dog has some aggressive tendencies, and we had tried other aggressive dog classes without much success. TKO worked with us to help control the dog in a way that other trainers had just not been able to do. Also, as a bonus, they take pictures of your dog during his/her training and post them on Facebook so you can keep tabs on them and show your disbelieving family how clever your dog is.

After adopting a rescue dog with many fears and other issues, we contacted Stephanie for help. She did a wonderful job of training both Portia AND my husband and me. Stephanie made life SO much easier with our adopted boy, Kilo. When I first brought him home he was pretty anxious, wasn't sure what to do on a leash, was TERRIFIED of getting in cars, and didn't know his name well enough to come when I called (adopted so no surprise). Just a short time with Stephanie and he was/is a changed pupper! Comes running when called, climbs right in the car and sits, and is a huge ladies man (over the anxiety). The best part is that it's been easy to keep up the good behavior, because Stephanie works with you and gives tip on how to keep the momentum going.

Stephanie has such a gift for working with animals. She took our wild, quirky coonhound and prepared her for the arrival of our daughter. Our dog was high maintenance and unable to heel but after working with Stephanie, she was much more manageable and did FANTASTIC with our newborn. She also gave us the tools to better understand, manage, and love her. We are so thankful for Stephanie and the progress she made with our dog during their time together.

I was so pleased with the response time when sending my first email into Topline K9. She called me back in the same day, offering a variety of options to help us out. She was so amazing coming out to our house in Cornville for a one on one with our sweet boy bear.
